Pumpkin Patch!

We took Henry to his very first pumpkin patch last weekend.  

We didn't get many smiles out of him, it was hot (86 degrees in October! blah!) and the poor dear needed a nap, but he still had tons of fun eating dirt and trying to climb the pumpkins.  He's turning into such a boy.

His Oma made him the cute little pumpkin hat.

4 Years Down, Baby!

Steve and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary in Park City, sans baby!
It was our very first time away from Henry and we all managed to survive somehow.
Steve's wonderful mother stayed at our house and took care of Henry and Penny and Henry cried so hard at bedtime, I almost turned around and went home.  I guess he wore himself out because he slept for 6 hours straight that night (his longest stretch to date).
Anyway, back to our getaway.
We stayed in The Chateaux Deer Valley, which is absolutely beautiful!
We took a shuttle down to Main Street and walked around a bit.
Our concierge gave us a 2 for 1 meal to Butcher's Steak House and I am eternally grateful to that man.  If you ever find yourself hungry on Main Street, hit up Butcher's.  It was sooo tasty.
Afterwards we grabbed some ice cream and just walked a bit more.  It was a pretty low key night.

Henry James Howe: Month Six

My baby is already a half a year old!  Slow down, time!

He's soooo close to crawling.

He's a pretty steady sitter

Is the BIGGEST momma's boy, practically refuses to let dad snuggle him.

Is obsessed with grass

Loves Penny and gets so excited when she notices him.  He giggles when he looks at her.

Is becoming quite the little talker, he jabbers and jabbers and jabbers when we're at home, but when we're out and about he likes to quietly observe everything around him.

He loves to get out of the house.  Smith's and Target are his favorite stops to frequent ;)

Loooooves to drink water out of cups.  It cracks me up.

wiggles constantly and wants to jump 24/7, whether he's in his bumper jumper or not.

Henry James Howe: Month Five

This little 5 month old loves to give kisses (and pull your hair out in the process).

Met his birthday twin (finally!)

He's become quite the giggler.

Has tasted grown up food.

Went swimming for the first time.

Got sick for the first time :(

Can almost sit up unassisted.

Loves to growl and babble.

Gets frustrated during tummy time because he can't move like he wants to.

Weighs 14.1 pounds and still fits in 0-3 month clothing.

Drools like a leaky faucet.

Loooooves to be outside.

Bathtime is still his favorite!

This little guy is growing so fast!
